Poetry as a "Relay"
Honestly, I don't know quite how to properly approach this assignment. Here it goes:
"How happy is the blameless vessle's lot!
The world forgetting, by the world forgot.
Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind!
Each pray'r accepted, and each wish resign'd."
- Alexander Pope
Have I ever tried to associate my own self identity with an image?
Yes, with a movie character by the name of HAN SOLO.
I not only identified with Han's character in the original Star Wars movie, but I also identified with the hero "image" of Luke Skywalker.
In this way, I believe I was shaping my own image around the desirable aspects personified by both characters. By developing my image to be like Han Solo, I adopted the rogue pilot/criminal image. At the same time, I also adopted the hero aspects from the Luke Skywalker character.
