The small town of Johnson City always came together as a community for the winter festivities of Light Spectacular, a three-day weekend each year when the entire town celebrates the coming of Christmas. The entire town lights up with white lights and decorations and horse-drawn carrages carry spectators around the festival to see the sights.

Besides the local stores displaying white light, there is also the "world famous" lighted parade, where participants must be lit by Christmas lights in one fashion or another. It's quite a sight to see
